And as we work to advance the cause of freedom around the world, we remember that the father of our country believed that the freedoms we secured in our revolution were not meant for Americans alone.

After deciding that the freedom for which Washington fought doesn’t apply to the alleged terrorists in Guantanamo or anybody else that he decides to classify as an unlawful enemy combatant or even any American citizens if they happen to be using a telephone, and then speak as if he agrees with Washington that human rights apply to all? That requires some award winning acting or, alternately, major league delusion.
