A week or two ago, while scouring the disorganized shelves of the used book store on my (probably) never ending quest to find a copy of Norman Mailer’s Picasso biography, I discovered instead a copy of Wil Wheaton‘s book Just a Geek. I talked myself into buying it (which really just consisted of saying, “Hey, look. It’s one of Wil Wheaton’s books.” “Should I buy it?” “Make it so.”). I started reading it just a few days ago and soon realized why I don’t blog as often as I always tell myself I should. I decided a long time back to stop myself from posting anything truly personal and always use my “fake it till you make it” voice. I’m determined now to change that and really open myself up here. In the past any writing of that sort usually appeared over on my formerly “secret” livejournal account. Now though, if you’re following along here you’ll be exposed to what I’m really thinking and doing and even, on occasion, feeling (and yes, everything here will continue to auto-magically appear on the lj and other places).
To kick off this new mode of blogging, today or tomorrow I’ll be latching onto Damien’s idea to do a new first/introductory post.
