I don’t expect many of know, but I’d become a William F. Buckley fan over the past couple of years so I am a bit saddened to hear of his passing. I am not surprised by this aspect of his death though

He was found at his desk in the study of his home, his son said. “He might have been working on a column,” Mr. Buckley said.

And clearly the New York Times hasn’t quite gotten the obit updated yet as it presently says

Two more books, one a political novel, and the other a history of the magazine called “Cancel Your Own Goddam Subscription” are scheduled to be published in 2007
