<p>For today&#8217;s writing I started up a new story. I plan to make this story my primary focus until I get it done. We&#8217;ll see how long I manage to hold myself to that and if I can even get myself back on track with writing each day.</p>

I almost didn&#8217;t get any writing done tonight due to a long work day, hence the really late post time. I took a shower just before bed though and that washed all the crud out of the gears as it so often does.</p>
<p>I put all of today&#8217;s words into the prose piece. I&#8217;m finally seeing the shape of it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just some writing on some aimless prose, though I think it fits into the story I&#8217;m working on. Given the nature of the story it is well served, at least at this nascent stage, by random bits of prose. I can patch them all together later.</p>
<p>306 words today. I&#8217;m thinking of upping my daily goal to at least 250 words or maybe 300, but we&#8217;ll see how the follow-up at the doctor&#8217;s office goes tomorrow.</p>
<p>I still need to find a pleasing graphical way to present my daily count that isn&#8217;t tied to an overall goal. (I also need to better learn where the apostrophe key is so as I type in the dark I don&#8217;t keep putting in semicolons instead.)</p>
