I missed yesterday so made up for it today even though I’m not going for some overarching count. I almost didn’t get any writing done tonight due to a long work day, hence the really late post time. I took a shower just before bed though and that washed all the crud out of the gears as it so often does.

I put all of today’s words into the prose piece. I’m finally seeing the shape of it.

Words and more words

My goal is now 250 words a day, just because. I’ve also come up with a very basic, more graphical way to show my daily count. Yay, css styling.

Aimless Prose

Just some writing on some aimless prose, though I think it fits into the story I’m working on. Given the nature of the story it is well served, at least at this nascent stage, by random bits of prose. I can patch them all together later.

306 words today. I’m thinking of upping my daily goal to at least 250 words or maybe 300, but we’ll see how the follow-up at the doctor’s office goes tomorrow.

I still need to find a pleasing graphical way to present my daily count that isn’t tied to an overall goal. (I also need to better learn where the apostrophe key is so as I type in the dark I don’t keep putting in semicolons instead.)

Just Write

Just did a bit of random prose writing today, not towards anything, just putting down words.

265 words though so a bit more. I need to find a new graphic to use here to total up what I’ve written.

6000 Words – Days 29 & 30!

The end, but only of the beginning. I missed writing last night, but made up for it tonight, then as I started totaling up realized that I’d been ahead and only needed to put in 201 words tonight. Anyway, spent some time on the prose story this time.

For the time being I’m sticking to 200 words a day as my goal. I’m leaving it open ended, but will be posting a daily total.
